Uganda Expeditions

We have entered into a joint agreement with a local tour operator in an effort to support African tourism initiatives while maintaining our vision of authentic tourism destinations. Together we have developed a number of tours and excursions to take you on affordable and exciting adventures with local guides to share with you intimate moments in the lives of amongst others, habituated Mountain Gorillas and Chimpanzees our closest relatives in their natural forest environment.

Budongo Forest covers an area of 793 km² of which only 53% is forest. Kampala is the largest city and capital of Uganda. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in southwestern Uganda in East Africa. The park is part of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and is situated along the Democratic Republic of Congo border next to the Virunga National Park and on the edge of the western Great Rift Valley.

Uganda, officially the Republic of Uganda, is a landlocked country in East Africa. Uganda is also known as the "Pearl of Africa". The country takes its name from the Buganda kingdom, which encompasses a large portion of the south of the country including the capital Kampala.

There are three subspecies of gorillas living in different parts of Africa. The differences between them are very slight. The chimpanzee is the mammal most like a human. Noisy and curious, intelligent and social, Chimpanzees fascinate humans and are favorites both in zoos and the wild.
