Excursion from cruise ship to Addo Review of: Addo Elephant National Park
I booked a day tour for 3 people to Addo with ALAN tours and they made up the numbers in the van by adding 2 more people from the ship.
They were very easy to deal with via email and answered all my enquiries promptly.
Our guide was waiting for us on the dock when we disembarked. She was a lovely young lady (name eludes me now). The van was comfortable, clean and air conditioned. Bottles of water were provided for us.
The tour was wonderful – we saw many many elephants and lots of baby elephants also. We also saw red hartebeest, kudu, black dung beetles and many zebra.
It was an amazing experience seeing all these animals in their natural environment. Lunch was also provided on this tour.
I would thoroughly recommend booking a tour with Alan Tours if you find yourself in Port Elizabeth.
