Easily the highlight of our visit to Port Elizabeth and nearby attractions
This was a combined working vacation and i had several free days in Port Elizabeth with my wife.
We booked 2 fullday excursions and a half day tour – our itinerary was put together by the incredibly lovely and efficient Angelika.
Our first tour to Addo Elephant Park was amazing – Alan knows all the best locations and his knowledge is encyclopedic. a consummate professional the tour was a jaw dropping experience as big ( and not so big -we learned a good deal about Dung Beetles and their role in the local ecology)) game walked by our vehicle – trating us humans wit the contempt that we probably deserve.
A half day tour of Port Elizabeth was intriguing as it told us of the early and recent history of the town followed by a day long trip along the Garden Route.
Alan Tours are great – responsive and flexible in arranging trips to suit your requirements.
We loved the entire expereince and they sent us lovely photos of our visit after we got back.
