Amazing Sunset Beach Experience”
After reading such positive feedback on Trip Advisor for Alan’s Tours we booked online 2 tours for the first day of our 2 day visit beginning of March to Port Elizabeth.
The morning City Tour was first and were not disappointed. Alan arrived on time at the hotel as planned weeks before. We spent several hours visiting places of interest and listening to his wide knowledge of the City. Everywhere we visited people knew him personally and we received warm greetings from everyone plus he was able to access places we would otherwise never have visited. A bonus was watching dolphins in the distance jumping in the sea from the sea front on Marine Drive ….
For the evening we booked Best Beaches Sundowner Tour. It was amazing and we highly recommend this to anyone who loves watching the sun go down on the beach and walking on sand dunes. Alan took us along the coast chasing the sunset visiting several beaches places of interest along the coast especially stopping at the Lighthouse which we would never have got to on our own.
We walked along the sand dunes with the wind blowing us away which was amazing, passed a nature reserve and much more. The tour concluded with snacks and drinks Alan laid out for us on a table whilst sitting on the beach enjoying the spectacle of the sun going down. We had an added bonus of watching men hand gliding high in the sky then landing on the beach just by our table. Truly amazing and unforgettable experience which we would gladly pay to do all over again….
