Bucket list
To say that our day was mind-blowing would be an understatement.
We took a full day tour of Addo with Malcolm who was extremely knowledgeable. He knew the best places for spotting animals and not just that, could predict their behaviour knowing the best places to stop to get the best views.
He was in contact with other guides in the park throughout, the network keeping each other informed of the places species had been spotted.
Under Malcoms expert guidance we had the priviledge of seeing five (yes five!) lions, umpteen elephants, a herd of buffalo on the move crossing the road not far from our vehicle, zebra, warthogs, kudu, red hartebeest, a secretary bird and many others I won’t list now. It wasn’t just the big animals. He was able to point out some of the smaller animals we would have probably missed, like the cape starling.
Our day genuinely couldn’t have been better.
