This is my 40th year as a professional biologist and I have no tolerance for people whom represent themselves as experts when they are not. That being said, Andrew in Addo and Alan as a bird guide were two of the most knowledgeable naturalists that I have ever been around. I am also such an introvert that it takes a while for me to feel comfortable around new people. However, they were so versed in their fields and about as comfortable to be around as family, that I forgot I was an introvert on a new continent for two whole days. Samantha (my 21 year old daughter) is my polar opposite and she really liked both of them as well. If being immersed in the natural wonders of a new country in a different hemisphere, in a safe comfortable environment, with outstanding but inexpensive food is your thing, then you have come to the right place. If we ever make it back to Africa, we are calling Alan Tours first.
